If you've been part of the corporate world for years, it can be difficult to come up with new looks that can keep you motivated to go to work every day. Plus, with new trends coming out each year it may be hard to keep up or figure out what to buy next. So, I've created a template that includes 5 style of shoes that you can look for each year to help you keep your work looks fresh and interesting. The colors and variations may change, but the styles themselves will hold true. Shoes can make or break a look, so choose carefully.
While some people may think what you wear isn't important to the overall scheme of your work life, I totally disagree. Because the moment you walk into a room someone will make a judgment on whether they should do business with you based on how you look. That is a sad reality for men and women. So, if you know this is the case, you should always try to look your best based on your personal style and standards. Plus, if you look good, eventually you'll feel good. Whether that's going to meet a new client or making a presentation amongst your peers and bosses.
One
Pumps - There so many options in pumps. You can do patent leather or a print. A kitten heel or a high stiletto style. This is your world, your runway.
Sling Backs - An oldie but still oh so good and classic.
Three
Ballet Flats - A must-have for those days when you want to slay but you're not in the mood for heels.
Four
Strappy Sandals - These can be dressed up or down and can be paired with almost anything and still be a perfect match. Neutrals will give you the most wear for your coins.
Bonus
Wedges (for casual Fridays) - Perfect for those days when you're not trying to do too much when you know you're going to have a long day.
