As I mentioned in the last post, spring and summer and bright colors are synonymous with each other. Some people are just used to wearing basics like black, gray, etc., and might be a little timid about wearing them. I used to be the exact same way until I figured out that starting out with subtle pieces allowed me to test the waters until I got more comfortable. If you're like me and love the way brighter colors look on melanin women, TRUST ME, you can make them work for you too.
Here are 5 ways to start adding them to your looks now:
One
Try wearing jewelry with brighter hues paired with basics so they can give you that pop you're looking for.
Two
When you're running errands on the weekend, grab a bright pair of sandals or ballet flats and wear them with jeans and a top to test the waters.
Three
Pair a bright top with a basic charcoal gray or tan bottom if you're not sure how you'll feel about them making you stand out from the crowd.
Four
Try mustard or yellow in a darker hue instead of neon. Neon colors are very bold and will for sure cause you to be the center of attention when you walk into a room. Mustard ia great alternative since it's in the same family of colors.

Five
Try one pieces like rompers and maxi dresses. Since you're new to this color thing, try not to make creating a look difficult by having to find too many complementary pieces.
