Let's face it, most of us ate way too much this past holiday season. It was all a good time, but now it's back to reality. Our faces look a bit fluffier, the jeans can no longer make it past our thighs, and our stomachs are a little bulgier than before.
For most of us, this means we need more gym time and practicing healthier habits. In the meantime, we need to dress the body we have now, so we can feel comfortable and still look cute.
Here are 11 fashion Dos and Don'ts to keep in mind until you lose the extra weight.
1. DO wear darker clothes help make you look slimmer.
2. DO wear clothes that flow away from the body.
3. DO wear wide-leg pants paired with basic colored tops
4. DO wear blazers, jackets, and coats that give your entire body more balance, so no area looks larger than the next.
5. DON'T wear a lot of patterns and prints. They tend to either draw attention to your body or make you look bigger.
6. DON'T wear tight clothes that stick too close to the areas you're unhappy with.
7. DON'T wear bright colored clothing that brings attention to the areas you want to downplay.
