5 Things You Need to Make Your Wardrobe Summer Ready

Summer is just getting started, and if you don't already know, there are a few things that every woman needs to have if you want to stay current and keep your look fresh and new throughout the season.

So, this week I'm telling you about the 5 things you need now if you don't already have them so you can be ready for all the fun summer activities.

One
Denim - Denim skirts, dress, jeans, etc. These are easy to pair with pieces you already own. Summer is all about being comfortable as you move about in your daily life, and having a few denim pieces will serve you well for work or play.
Two
Flowy Skirts and Dresses - Again, it's going to get hotter and hotter as we get deep into the summer months, and it's going to be hard to clothing made with heavy fabrics. Do yourself a favor, and grab a few in neutral tones and prints so you can dress them up or down.
Three
Bright & Pastels Colors - Nothing says I'm summer bae than brights on a hot summer day. If done right, your melanin will pop and you'll stand out from the crowd.
Four
Mules & Clogs - These two trends are a carryover from a few seasons ago, so having a pair or two will be worth the money because they're not going anywhere anytime soon.
Five
Playful Accessories - You need a good pair of sunglasses, a hat, and good bag. The hat and the bag can be made of straw or some type of light and playful material that you wouldn't normally wear to work or an evening on the town. Summer accessories should be fun and give off that effortless vibe. Having at least one of each will get you ready for the family BBQ, annual vacation or your favorite summer festival.
