When you don't have kids, you have the time and extra coins to put into your personal style. But when the baby comes along, you and your style identity often get pushed aside. Either because most of your time is focused on caring for your new bundle of joy, or you have fewer coins to spend on you.
Just because you have a baby or two now, doesn't mean you have to totally sacrifice your style. All you need is a bit of time to plan your looks, a little money, and some creativity. This being the holiday season, you're more than likely going to be out and about and coming into contact with your friends and loved ones. If you're still trying to keep it cute sis, this blog post is for you. Because looking good will in most cases make you feel good and help with your confidence.
I know you may have put on some extra pounds (and that's completely OK), so you'll more than likely need to buy a few new things that will fit the body you have now.
One
Start off by buying basics like denim, dresses, and tops that are flattering and can be used with different looks.
Two
Buy colors that compliment and work well with each other so you can mix and match quickly and easily.
Three
Look for fabrics that are lightweight and don't require a lot of ironing.
Bonus
To save time on outfit prep, take a few hours at the end or beginning of every week to select and iron everything you plan to wear for the week. And since this is the holiday season like I mentioned before, that includes party looks. So that way you already know ahead of time what you're going to wear, so you would've already done your prep work. TIP: Put baby's special occasion outfits together at the same time, so when the day comes you'll have more time for you to get ready.
